Why I'm Against the Idea of a Single Life Mission

The concept of a single life mission has become increasingly popular in modern society. It suggests that we are all born with a predetermined purpose, and our life's journey is simply a matter of discovering and fulfilling that purpose. However, I believe this idea is limiting and can actually hinder our personal growth and fulfillment.

Also, as a past-life psychic and Akashic reader, I channel multiple life missions for all my clients every day. Actually, my spirit guides find the idea of a single life mission reductive and point out that we often diminish our value and what we bring to the world by obsessing on one big life mission that will change the world and is the only way to give us purpose.

For starters, the notion of a single life mission assumes that there is only one thing that we are meant to do or achieve in our current incarnation. This places a great deal of pressure on us to figure out what that one thing is, and it can lead to feelings of disappointment and even failure if we are unable to pinpoint our life's purpose. Furthermore, it's often assumed that our life mission is tied to our professional career, which is simply not true for everyone.

In reality, we are constantly evolving and changing throughout our lives, and so are our interests, passions, and priorities. It's important to recognize that our life's purpose can be multifaceted, and it's not always something that can be neatly categorized or defined. We may have a passion for art, but also feel a sense of purpose in advocating for social justice or volunteering in our local community. These are all valid and important life missions that we can pursue simultaneously or at different stages of our lives.

Moreover, the pressure to find one singular life mission can lead us to overlook the many missions that are part of our current life plan. We can have missions of love, of change, of exploration, and so much more (we all have at least 3 life missions!). These missions may not be grand or publicly recognized, but they are meaningful to our soul's journey and contribute to our personal growth, balancing karma and learning valuable life lessons.

Instead of fixating on a single life mission, I believe it's more beneficial to approach life with an open mind and a willingness to explore our passions and interests because they are our soul's GPS, meaning they guide us towards embodying our life missions. We can try new things, take risks, and pursue multiple paths at once. It's okay to have different priorities and to change our minds as we grow and evolve. In fact, embracing change and uncertainty is often what leads us to discover new passions and purposes in life.

Overall, the idea of a single life mission is limiting and unrealistic. It's important to recognize that our life's purpose can be multifaceted, and it's not always tied to our professional career. Instead of feeling pressure to discover one singular life mission, we should approach life with an open mind and a willingness to explore different passions and interests. By doing so, we can discover and pursue multiple life missions that bring us joy, fulfillment, and a sense of purpose.
